Palo Alto Networks in talks to acquire CyberArk for over $20bn

Palo Alto Networks is reportedly negotiating to purchase CyberArk Software for over $20 billion, a move that would be its largest-ever acquisition. CyberArk, based in Israel, is a leader in identity security.

The Wall Street Journal reports that a deal could be concluded as early as this week, citing anonymous sources. This acquisition would enable Palo Alto Networks to offer more comprehensive security solutions tailored to AI-driven threats.

CyberArk’s capabilities in privileged access management would be a strategic addition to Palo Alto Networks’ existing offerings.

The talks follow the company’s recent acquisition of Protect AI, whose integration into the Prisma AIRS platform is designed to fortify AI applications and infrastructure security.
